Meade 9. The last hole in the countdown to 27. Tomorrow marks the opening of all 27 holes at National. Tonight, we gathered to celebrate and were treated to a great sunset over the closing hole on the Meade 9. This par 3 is guaranteed to generate excitement and is pitched to be viewed from anywhere on the patio. This hole can range from under 90 yards to over 200, but will the require the same level of creativity from any tee box. The green slopes significantly from left to right and is contoured with “lumps not humps”. #unionleaguegolf #national #27 #unionleague #golf

Grant 3. National’s great short par 3. Only 137 yards from the championship tee, this is sure to be one of the most memorable holes on the course. A tee box over 50 yards wide provides many angles into this small target. The green is guarded by a deep pot bunker and a rift that tears up the left side. This is going to be a fun one… #unionleaguegolf #national #27 #unionleague #golf

Grant 2. With only 3 holes remaining till 27, we’ve come across the last par 5. Grant 2 is set up to be one of the most fun holes on the course. Swing away and try not to think about the water left. A fairway over 50 yards awaits your tee shot. Tipping out over 560 yards, this will be a 3 shot hole for most players. A bunker is strategically placed short of the green. Anything laid up left will leave a short wedge, but anything that lands to its right may just end up on the putting surface. #unionleaguegolf #national #27 #unionleague #golf

Meade 3. Off the tee, anything that stays dry will provide a look into this massive green. Water stretches the entire left side of this hole. The fairway is wide but covered in swells making an even lie unlikely. The 50 yard wide green is guarded by water and a deep bunker in front with a waste area that wrapping around its back. #unionleaguegolf #national #27 #unionleague #golf
